Description
Position Summary: Join the Chesmar Homes Houston West Division for a summer internship! We provide an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to become an integral part of our team as an Office Intern.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the organization and coordination of company events, meetings, and conferences.
- Assist the Division's Operations team by completing various tasks related to Purchasing and Starts & Permits.
- Support the Division's Marketing function by helping coordinate events, creating printed materials, and supporting our internet-based marketing efforts.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects, offering assistance as needed.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as email correspondence and document preparation.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting team members.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Punctual and reliable.
